If you want to accelerate your career growth, you need to stop thinking about the next script and become connected with some serious filmmakers who can use your writing abilities to create a film masterpiece.
For example, take this road movie we’re currently working on: It’s about a couple who decides to take a road trip across the U.S. in their old clunker. Every mile on the road puts their car to the test, as well as every fiber of their relationship. Will they drive their car - and their marriage - off the cliff or will they be able to do a relationship U-turn?
As a Christian-based film company, we’re looking for the next super duper writer to join us who can take that concept and create a killer screenplay. Help us become as big as our dreams, and in result, you will, too! That’s the power of working with a team of creative filmmakers who actually produce great work.
Here are two recent projects we made:
If you’re interested, here’s what year one would look like. For a writer of Christian material, this is the stuff of dreams - writing scripts that actually come to life and impact lives in the process.
Write the screenplay for a film series on marriage that will help to strengthen and heal thousands of marriages across the world.
Produce offline edits to help our film editor make sense of all the data.
Chat and drink coffee with our Chief Creative Writer, ensuring the quality and content of our scripts are in alignment with KingdomWorks Studios brand and messaging.
Realistically, we need someone who’s already written a great script (kind of adds credibility) and can show us how great of a writer they truly are. If you pull off writing an incredible screenplay for the marriage series, all the folks you’ll be working with will be thanking you when they receive their Oscars and Emmys.
There are things like the compensation, the company, the people and the location. However, none of this matters unless you grasp the opportunity of seeing your work come to life.
Desired Skills & Experience
If you can accomplish the above, you’ve got what it takes. Realistically though, you need to prove you’ve got the chops as a writer. If you have a familiarity with post-production and a background in TV or film production, that would be great. If not, let’s still talk anyway. This is a full-time position that would require working out of our Stuart, Florida based offices.
Send us samples of your published written work. Please do not send any works in progress, or non-copyrighted work.
